Tony Gossett is a petroleum engineering professional with over 30 years of experience, specializing in exploration and development operations. He has led operations and engineering efforts for a variety of oil and gas companies, including Forestar Oil and Gas, where he oversaw all phases of operations—drilling, completions, production, workovers, and facility design. Tony began his career with Getty Oil Company and has worked across numerous basins, including Texas, the Midcontinent, Gulf Coast, Rockies, Appalachian, and Illinois regions. His leadership experience includes managing Forestar’s $160 million acquisition of Credo Petroleum, overseeing a $1.38 billion development project in Oklahoma, and directing the $606 million acquisition and development of Permian Basin assets for Sage Hills Energy, LLC.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Science in Minerals Engineering with a concentration in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alabama. He has also completed postgraduate studies in Computer Science, Machine Learning, and Theology. He remains actively involved in several professional organizations.
