
Collin Moore
Geologist & Project Manager
Collin is an experienced Exploration Geologist with a strong track record of high-quality geologic work in the oil and energy industry since October 2018. His expertise spans exploration across multiple regions in Texas, including the Permian Basin, North Texas, and Central Texas ventures. He brings valuable experience in subsurface geologic mapping, petrophysics, geotechnical analysis, data harvesting, and is proficient with tools such as LMKR GeoGraphix, SMT Kingdom, and PhdWin. Collin has collaborated across multiple disciplines throughout his career.
Prior to his current role, Collin gained hands-on field experience as a Logging and Wellsite Geologist in Central and North Texas and the Permian Basin. He also served as an Intern Geologist at QEP Resources, where he evaluated production potential from bypassed zones in the Permian Basin and existing wells in Southern Wyoming.
Collin holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he was active in the AAPG ULL Student Chapter and the Lafayette Geological Society (LGS). He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences from Sam Houston State University, where he was involved with the Sam Houston Association of Geological Students (SHAGS). In addition to his professional work, Collin actively serves the geologic community as President and Board Member of the Oil Information Library of Fort Worth.
